Our Commitment
Heartland Trading maintains a robust compliance program designed to ensure full adherence to Hong Kong law, including all applicable regulations within the territory, as well as the laws and regulations of every jurisdiction in which we operate.
We stringently follow the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (AMLO, Cap. 615) and its associated guidelines. We adopt a zero-tolerance approach to bribery, corruption, sanctions violations, money laundering, terrorist financing, and any form of unethical behavior.
We believe that sustainable success is only possible when we act responsibly toward our people, partners, customers, and the communities in which we operate.

Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
We prohibit all forms of bribery and corruption. No employee or third party acting on our behalf may offer, give, solicit, or accept any improper advantage to influence business decisions. -
Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT)
We maintain stringent controls to comply with the AMLO and international standards. Our AML/CFT policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated. -
Sanctions and Trade Compliance
We strictly comply with all applicable international trade sanctions, export controls, and related regulations across all jurisdictions. -
Conflicts of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with those of Heartland Trading. All potential conflicts must be disclosed promptly. -
Human Rights and Fair Labor
We respect human rights and are committed to fair labor practices throughout our supply chain and operations. -
Gifts, Hospitality, and Entertainment
We maintain clear guidelines to ensure gifts and hospitality are modest, transparent, and never used to improperly influence decisions. -

Important Note on AML/CFT Policies
New versions of our AML/CFT policies are currently a work in progress. Once finalized and approved, they will be uploaded to this website as soon as possible.
Reporting Concerns
Heartland Trading encourages an open culture where employees and third parties can raise concerns without fear of retaliation. We provide secure, confidential channels to report suspected violations of our Code of Conduct or any illegal or unethical behavior.
All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly and fairly.
Training and Awareness
We provide regular compliance training to all employees and relevant third parties to ensure understanding of our policies and their individual responsibilities.
Oversight
Our Compliance function, supported by senior leadership and the Board, oversees the implementation and effectiveness of our compliance program. We continuously review and improve our policies to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and best practices in Hong Kong and internationally.
